Review Trax ("Review Trax," "we," "us") is a service of Prospect Genius, a New York company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through Review Trax, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Review Trax helps business owners give each worker a unique, trackable QR code that sends customers to the business's website or booking page. This policy covers everyone who uses it: business owners and the workers they invite.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you sign up or someone invites you: your name, mobile phone number, and (optionally) your email address and a profile photo. Business owners also provide their business name, target URL, and an optional logo. We strip location/camera metadata (EXIF data) from any photo you upload.
Information we collect automatically. When a QR code is scanned or a link is clicked, we log the IP address, browser/device (user-agent string), an approximate city-level location derived from the IP address, the time, and whether the scan was valid. We keep this click-level data for 90 days and then delete it automatically. We also keep basic sign-in and account-activity logs.
Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, who processes your payment depends on how you subscribed. If you subscribed on the Review Trax website, our payment processor, Stripe, collects and stores your card details directly. If you subscribed through the Review Trax app on iOS or Android, Apple's App Store or Google Play processes and stores your payment details directly instead, under their own privacy policies. Either way, we never see or store your full card number -- we only keep your subscription status and billing dates.
Cookies. We use two cookies: one to keep you signed in during a browsing session, and one optional "remember this device" cookie so you don't have to log in every time. Neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and you can revoke the "remember this device" cookie at any time by logging out.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and run your account, and to generate and validate your QR codes and links
- To send the one-tap sign-in links and worker invitations you request (see Text Messaging below)
- To show business owners their own click/review activity, and to detect invalid or abusive scans
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To provide information about our services to you
- To provide customer support and respond to you
- To keep the service secure and diagnose errors (see Sharing Your Information)
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Text Messaging
Opt-In. By providing your mobile number to sign up, or by accepting a worker invitation sent by text, you agree to receive text messages from Review Trax at that number. These are transactional messages, one-tap sign-in links and business/worker invitations.
Frequency. Message frequency depends on how often you (or someone inviting you) use the sign-in and invite features. Typically a handful of messages per month, sometimes more if you sign in often. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us at privacy@prospectgenius.com. Because sign-in links are sent by text, opting out of texting may require you to use email sign-in instead (if you've added an email) or contact us directly.
Sharing Your Information
We share information with the service providers who help us run Review Trax, and only as needed for them to do that job:

- Stripe
- Apple App Store
- Google Play
- Rollbar
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of our users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data Retention & User Rights
Click and scan data is kept for 90 days and then automatically deleted. Sign-in links and QR codes are single-use and expire automatically. We keep account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after in case you want to reactivate it or as needed for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
You can review and update your name, email, and photo at any time from your profile page. A business owner can delete their business (and its worker list) directly from the app.
Deleting your account: You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app under Help → Delete My Account, or from the Privacy page in the app. The same option is available at https://rtrax.app/deleteme for users who have uninstalled the app.
Children's Privacy
Review Trax is a business tool intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we'll delete any such information if we learn we've collected it.
Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards; encrypted connections, hashed/signed session tokens, and access controls to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
Compliance
This policy is intended to comply with applicable U.S. privacy and telemarketing laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA messaging guidelines.
